Water:
Bloodbending is a sub-skill of waterbending that allows an extremely advanced waterbender to take hold of and manipulate fluids within an organism's body, allowing the bender to move the person's muscles. This technique is referred to as the darkest, most powerful, and most feared of all bending techniques, and it is the only art known to endanger the user's mental state. The forms and styles used by bloodbenders resemble how a puppeteer controls a marionette. Whereas waterbending uses flowing motions with the arms, bloodbending seems to require a more rigid and abrupt form of movement, further highlighting how different it is from the primary waterbending forms and its other sub-skill, healing. The technique is deemed to be a dark art and is rarely used in combat by most waterbenders. The complexity and sophistication required to perform the art usually only allows for its use during a full moon, when a waterbender's power is at its absolute peak. A form of bloodbending without using the arms exists known as psychic bloodbending. NOTE Blood bending is very rare and usually illegal. Through a majority vote by the moderators and admins, you may gain this bending, so long as it is obtained during a time of crisis. You must supply this crisis before the vote as well as the characters usage of it.

Healing is a sub-skill of waterbending that allows the bender to heal wounds; by using water as a catalyst, they can redirect energy paths around the body, concentrating more energy into a wounded area and allowing that area to heal at an accelerated rate. While this technique is effective on external, physical wounds, its ability to repair internal injuries and cure illnesses is more limited. The skill level of the healer,[1] as well as the quality of the water used, also plays a role in its effectiveness. Most healers are female, though men can perform it too.

Mudbending is a style demonstrates that waterbenders are also able to bend the liquids in mud. Like sandbending, Mud bending resembles a mix between earth and water styles, with the waterbending motions becoming more ridged and strong. This style is one of the few styles able to be done by benders of 2 elements; as waterbenders can bend the water in the mud, earthbenders can bend the earth.

Earth
Lavabending is a specialized sub-skill of earthbending that allows the user to manipulate molten earth. This rare ability allows the bender to phase-change earth into lava, lava into earth, and otherwise manipulate existing lava with great dexterity.

Metalbending is a specialized sub-skill of earthbending that allows an earthbender to ferrokinetically bend processed metal in a similar fashion to bending regular earth. Since metal is merely earth that has been purified and refined, a bender bends the trace amounts of "unpurified" crude earth still present in the metal and use it to bend the purified metal itself. Metalbenders can also bend liquid metals, such as mercury, though utilize more fluid movements to do so, akin to waterbending. It is also possible to bend liquid metal inside someone's body. Metal sand cannot be bent in this manner, however, and requires earth to be present to pick up the particles of metal.

Sandbending is an alternate earthbending style that has been adapted for use in the Si Wong Desert by the people that live there. They move quickly in the desert on specialized wooden sailers that are propelled by bending miniature, localized sandstorms behind their sails. Because sand is sediment which travels in flows, their style resembles air and waterbending more than earthbending. It is implied that most, if not all, earthbenders are capable of easily bending sand, but because of the loose shifty nature of sand it is not an easy transition for the average earthbender. The sandbenders of the desert are especially proficient with it due to their particular habitat. Likewise, one can compact the sand to be solid and thick.

Mudbending is a style demonstrates that earthbenders are also able to bend the earth in mud. Like sandbending, Mud bending resembles a mix between earth and water styles, with the earth bending motions becoming more flowing. This style is one of the few styles able to be done by benders of 2 elements; as earthbenders can bend the earth in the mud, waterbenders can bend the water.

Fire
Combustionbending is a form of telekinetic firebending. It consists of the ability to channel chi through the forehead, often marked by an intricate third-eye tattoo, superheating the surrounding air and producing a beam of explosive energy capable of immense damage, both in short and long range. Unlike conventional firebending, which produces a flame from the body, the technique instead creates a powerful beam that explodes upon contact with a solid surface. Combustionbending requires good chi flow and a properly calibrated focus in order to be effective, as disrupting it can have fatal consequences.

Lightning generation is a sub-skill of firebending that allows a firebender to produce and guide a bolt of lightning from their fingertips. Physically, generating lightning involves a circular motion with the arms. Mentally, it involves a complete absence of emotion as well as peace of mind, thus allowing an individual to separate the energies of yin and yang, also interpreted as positive and negative electrical potential, respectively. When the forces collide, the bender guides rather than controls the lightning's direction. This process is taxing on a bender's chi reserves, due to its complexity. Lightning attacks usually take much longer time to initiate than standard fire attacks. The electric arc produced by this technique can be maintained for several seconds, during which time the lightning can be swept about to produce widespread damage. The charge, and thus the damage, of a lightning strike can be regulated. A subsect of this ability is lightning redirection, the ability to absorb and redirect lightning as to protect oneself.
